Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using Scoutela you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding agreement and provide accurate account information.

2. The service

Scoutela is a discovery and matching service that aggregates and links to third-party research opportunities. We do not conduct studies, determine eligibility, select participants, schedule sessions or pay study incentives.

3. Accounts and profiles

You are responsible for your credentials and account activity. Keep demographic and location data accurate. Do not create duplicate accounts, impersonate others or manipulate referrals.

4. Memberships

Plus and Pro are recurring monthly or annual subscriptions billed through Stripe until cancelled. Eligible new subscriptions include the trial shown at checkout. Fees are non-refundable after a billing period begins except where applicable law requires otherwise.

5. Referrals

A referral is recorded only for a verified account and remains pending until the referred member completes a first successful paid subscription. The inviter then receives seven free subscription days, capped at 28 unused days. Rewards have no cash value. Self-referrals, shared devices or networks, multi-account registrations, automation, chargebacks and other suspicious activity may be rejected or manually reviewed.

6. Third-party studies and payments

The original provider is solely responsible for its listing, screener, eligibility decision, communications, study delivery, incentive amount, payment method and payment timing. Scoutela only provides the direct external link. We do not guarantee selection or payment and cannot resolve provider payment disputes; contact the provider directly.

7. Acceptable use

Do not scrape or automate access without permission, bypass membership controls, submit false data, interfere with security, distribute malware, infringe rights or use Scoutela unlawfully.

8. Intellectual property

Scoutela software, design and original content belong to Scoutela or its licensors. Provider names and listing information remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, Scoutela disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for provider non-payment or indirect or consequential loss caused by third-party studies. Nothing excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Termination and changes

We may suspend accounts for fraud, non-payment, security risk or material breach. Material changes will be posted with a revised date and, where required, additional notice.

11. Law and contact

Applicable mandatory consumer law remains unaffected. Final governing-law and business-identity clauses must be completed when the operating legal entity is confirmed. Contact support@scoutela.com.
