1. Scoutela and these terms
Scoutela is a research-opportunity discovery service operated by an individual based in Latvia (LV-1050). These terms apply to your use of Scoutela, its accounts and memberships. Contact support@scoutela.world about the service, billing or these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing; accepting these terms is not consent to optional analytics.
You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding agreement and provide accurate account information. Use the service only where lawful. If you do not agree, do not create an account or purchase a membership. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights continue to apply.
2. What Scoutela provides
Scoutela organizes third-party research information and provides discovery, filtering and account tools. Paid features are described on the pricing page and at checkout. Membership purchases access to Scoutela features; it does not purchase a study place or a right to provider payment.
Scoutela does not conduct listed studies, employ participants, determine provider eligibility, select participants, arrange sessions or pay advertised study incentives. A provider name, listing or link does not imply partnership, endorsement or affiliation unless expressly stated.
3. Listing information and matching limits
Listings reflect information available from their sources. Requirements, availability, quotas, dates, locations and compensation can change, expire or be incomplete. An observation or publication date identifies a record’s date, not a promise that a place remains available. Unknown information remains unknown. Review the original provider’s current information before applying.
A review, status label or safety guide is not a certification of a provider, study or request. Matching describes profile overlap with available criteria. It is not an eligibility decision, probability of acceptance or earnings prediction. Providers may use additional criteria Scoutela cannot see.
Translations and summaries can omit nuance; check the original wording when a requirement is unclear. Guides are general educational information, not personalized medical, legal, financial, tax or employment advice. Seek appropriate professional advice when needed.
4. Accounts and communications
Keep credentials secure and your profile accurate. Do not share accounts, impersonate others or create accounts to evade restrictions or manipulate rewards. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. You remain responsible for deliberate misuse; these terms do not make you responsible for a security failure attributable to Scoutela.
Discovery and alerts depend on source information, settings, connections and configured delivery services. Alerts do not reserve a study place; timing and receipt are not guaranteed. Check the original provider when a deadline matters.
5. Subscription price, trial and renewal
Plus and Pro are recurring subscriptions billed through Stripe. Checkout shows the price, currency, billing period, any applicable taxes, trial eligibility and first charge before you subscribe. Only the trial or promotion actually offered at checkout applies. Unless cancelled before the trial or current billing period ends, the subscription renews automatically on its disclosed terms.
Use account billing controls to cancel the next renewal. Contact support if controls fail or a charge appears incorrect, with your account email and relevant receipt information. Do not send card details or passwords. Cancellation, account deletion and a refund or statutory withdrawal request are different actions; follow the billing and deletion notices.
Refunds and remedies required by law remain available. Where applicable, online service contracts generally carry a 14-day statutory withdrawal period, subject to lawful exceptions. Merely accepting these terms or using an account does not establish an express waiver. Contact support to communicate withdrawal or a billing complaint. There is no blanket no-refund rule in these terms.
6. Referrals and membership benefits
A referral is recorded for a verified account and remains pending until the referred member completes a qualifying first successful paid subscription. The inviter receives seven free subscription days, capped at 28 unused days. Benefits have no cash value and are separate from provider incentives.
Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fabricated activity, automation and suspected abuse may be rejected or reviewed. Shared devices or networks can be review signals but do not themselves establish wrongdoing. A pending record is not an awarded benefit. Other rewards apply only when an eligible offer is actually available and its conditions are shown.
7. Independent providers and participation
Providers are responsible for their own screeners, consent, selection, communications, recording, study delivery and incentive conditions and payment. Provider websites have separate terms and privacy notices. Review them and resolve unclear software, recording, travel or payment requirements before accepting.
Scoutela does not guarantee selection, participation, income, payment method or payment timing. Send study and incentive disputes to the provider. You can report misleading information, broken links or suspicious requests to Scoutela for listing review. This does not remove Scoutela’s responsibility for its own service.
8. Acceptable use and submitted material
Do not bypass access controls, redistribute subscriber-only information, submit false evidence, manipulate referrals, harass others, introduce malware, disrupt the service or infringe rights. Do not scrape or automate restricted access without permission. These restrictions do not prevent lawful security reporting, rights requests or legally protected uses.
Submit only material you are entitled to share and necessary for your request. Do not send another person’s personal data, confidential study material, identity documents, medical records or payment credentials through general support or listing reports. Separately requested information must use the appropriate stated process.
9. Intellectual property
Scoutela software, design and original editorial content belong to Scoutela or its licensors. Use the service for its intended personal discovery purpose. Third-party materials and marks belong to their owners. These terms do not transfer ownership or permit reuse of confidential study material.
10. Availability and responsibility
Maintenance, errors or interruptions may occur. Scoutela does not promise an uninterrupted feed, a particular inventory size, complete source coverage or a research outcome. To the extent permitted by law, Scoutela does not assume an independent provider’s commitments or responsibility for losses caused by that provider.
Warranty or liability exclusions apply only where lawful. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing removes mandatory digital-service remedies, consumer protections, data-protection rights or Scoutela’s own contractual obligations. No fixed liability cap or obligation to indemnify Scoutela is imposed here.
11. Suspension, ending access and changes
Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary for material misuse, fraud, non-payment, legal requirements or security risks. Where lawful and practicable, we will explain why and how to contact support. Restriction does not automatically extinguish remedies or erase legally required records.
Material contractual changes require the notice and choices prescribed by applicable law; posting a revised date alone does not waive those requirements. Price or paid-service changes do not retroactively alter an already paid period except where lawfully agreed. Contact support about cancellation or remedies if a material change affects you.
12. Questions and disputes
Send complaints to support@scoutela.world with enough information to identify the issue. Contacting support does not prevent use of a competent regulator, consumer-advice service or court. These terms impose no mandatory arbitration, exclusive foreign court or waiver of protections that apply where you live.
