How to report a study listing

What to do when a Scoutela listing has a broken link, outdated details, an incorrect payout or a safety concern.

1 min read

Check the original source

Compare the Scoutela preview with the original provider page. Note the exact difference, such as a closed application, changed incentive or unexpected destination. Provider information can change after Scoutela last checked a listing.

Use the report control on the listing

Open the study’s member details and choose “Report outdated, scam or wrong payout.” Select the closest reason and add a short description. Do not include passwords, one-time codes, bank details or another person’s private information.

Keep urgent account concerns separate

If you entered credentials on a suspicious page, change them through the affected service and contact that service directly. For a Scoutela account or membership problem, contact Scoutela support. The original provider handles its own scheduling and incentive questions.

What happens next

Scoutela records the report for review. A report does not automatically remove a listing or establish that a provider is fraudulent. We review the source and update the listing status when the evidence supports a change.

Common questions

Can I report a listing without proving it is a scam?

Yes. Report the specific broken link, mismatch or concern; Scoutela will review the available source evidence.

Who handles a missing study incentive?

Contact the original provider about attendance and payment. You can also report a Scoutela listing if its published incentive information appears wrong.
