How Scoutela verifies and matches studies
Our goal is to make published criteria easier to compare—not to predict or influence a provider’s final decision.
Provider verification
Scoutela records the provider’s official domain, checks that the outbound application resolves to the expected organization, reviews visible contact and privacy information, and flags material domain or status changes for moderation. Verification confirms identity signals, not the quality or outcome of every study.
Study normalization
Published payout, age range, gender eligibility, countries, occupations, format, duration and exclusions are stored as separate fields. Missing requirements remain unknown rather than being inferred.
Match score
The score compares the participant profile with published criteria. Age and location carry the most weight, followed by explicitly compatible gender, occupation, interests and preferred format. Missing fields reduce confidence. Exclusion rules are shown separately and never silently treated as a pass.
Explanation rules
AI-assisted explanations may restate only criteria stored for that study and profile facts supplied by the member. They must not invent requirements or claim guaranteed eligibility, selection, scheduling or compensation.
